As so often with Science Fiction good money spent on cast and effects but the storyline was completely facile. Brad Pitt’s motivation and behaviour as a deserted son could have played out in any environment. Nothing was added by the film to the question of other life existing in the universe. What a waste of Tommy Lee Jone’s talent. Strange time shifts and Brad’s ability to fly though the rings of Neptune propelled by a rotating antenna and protected by a piece of space station were confusing and laughable in equal measure. Please please get good premise for big budget Sci Fi - Interstellar being a good benchmark!
