Do not pay attention to bad feedback. Those people are mad that a new movie/series came out on Jackal and do not realize that the world has changed. The series is following the current world. Therefore, I am convinced that bad ratings are based on a personal grudge. Eddie Redmayne performed a great job in this role. There other great actors. The level of professionalism and how the scenes are shot does not leave room for doubt that this series is good. I'll give it a perfect score based on 4 episodes I have watched so far. The show keeps you engaged and has good soundtrack for "cool" scenes.
