Never been a wrestling fan. Always knew it was staged. This movie is real though. Watching this movie made me shed tears. I didn't think I would enjoy this movie but in reality I loved it. Highly suggest it to anyone looking for a solid movie to watch.

Movie logic is way off.
Apparently a gun is found but no prints were checked, recordings from police interviews missing, police threatening witnesses in the interrogation room. So much obvious evidence missing but they don't bring any of it up.

Not going to say much other than this is in my opinion the greatest marvel movie ever. I have never gotten so emotional and to the point of crying during a movie ever and this takes the cake. I could watch this movie everyday and still enjoy it. James Gunn did a fantastic job of directing this trilogy of movies. In my opinion this even tops rami's spiderman trilogy.

The movie looked great and the music was phenomenal. Wasn't exactly old Mario music we are used to but they kind of mixed it up so it wouldn't be so generic.
The plot felt somewhat weak to me.

Basically just two events happen mid movie and then it's the ending. The movie showed so much more potential like other islands/places and even showed Yoshi's but they didn't even go with that. The movie felt like they could've added more from the Mario games. I wish they would've added a bit more to the movie.

Luigi felt so underused in this movie. He is essentially the baby and is just there for the plot. He basically just helps Mario get to the mushroom kingdom then assists the story by being captured while Mario for the rest of the movie does his own thing. Only for Lugi to become free and somehow know how to use the star power when it took Mario a whole day to learn how to use the item powers. I really wished they would've used Lugi more and made him less of a baby for the little siblings or people who genuinely love lugi as a character. All the other characters felt pretty solid and their designs were great.
Movie felt short in my opinion but thats cause I'm used to 2hr+ movies.

It was a nice movie and it's great to let your kids see as I heard plenty of kids laughing and screaming about Mario on screen. Don't walk in thinking you'll see a decent chunk of the Mario story as it isn't filled with much besides some easter eggs. It's better if you are just there to see a beloved game character finally be on screen. I'd refer freinds and family to see it and I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
