If you are a fan of the naruto series, you will be missing out if you don't watch boruto. There are a lot of ups and some downs to this anime, such as almost everything being focused around boruto, and not much on his team, and the characters don't really have any key powers that their parents don't have, although there are some new techniques that haven't been seen before. Unfortunately about 70% of the show is filler, but the canon episodes mostly make up for that and are really good. Besides that, there are epic battles in the canon episodes with unpredictable conclusions that have amazing animation. The anime tells a really interesting, unique and unpredictable story of the new generation of ninja, and apart from the fillers is a decent sequel to the naruto shippuden series.
