I consider it an experiment for an young director, as Scorsese was, to schock the public, striking the tradition and pop up to critics. do i recomend it? certainly not, not entirely. Possibly only of a selection of it, just for the pleasure to visit the NY of early "70s, see the people and the cars, breath the air of that times. My opinion.

The characters, the cars, the show, everything is perfect. They do a very good job. It captured even the attention of my wife who doesn't care much about cars.
