High Potential has some echoes of the movie Erin Brockovich, but it takes place in a police station instead of a law office. The concept is engaging, but it does feel a bit unrealistic at times. The idea of police officers bringing a woman and her children into the mix to help solve crimes seems unlikely, given how law enforcement usually operates. Still, the show brings a unique perspective to crime-solving and offers some interesting character dynamics that keep you watching.
