Ive NEVER gone out of my way to review a TV show. Never. I LOVE this show! I can honestly say I learned things that I did not know that everyoneshould be taught. Its cool to watch the process but what I appreciate about this show in particular is learning the WHY. I also loved learning about the making and designing of the furniture in the last episode. I never knew any of that, that is really useful. When stores are asking you to spend a good chunk of change, if you're not a designer, you don't really understand what makes that furniture worth your hard earned dollars. The designer of the episode (Im sorry I'm terrible at remembering names) was super fun and spicy and sweet. You could tell she was her authentic self. I love Mike's straightforwardness, his humor. You can tell he loves his kids and that they love and respect him. Mike has a teaching style that gets to the point, clear, concise which is helpful for me in particular with ADHD! I want to learn from him. I hope this show comes back and stays for a long time! Its a great mix of "This Old House" and ALL the house make over shows. Their family has a real genuineness that shows through as well that makes it satisfying to watch.
