(Spoilers Ahead) I hate, hate, HATE how they handle the issue of down syndrome; Summer gives up completely but provides no explanation for why, and John goes from 'We can handle this' to 'We can't in' .05 seconds. Then the child is born with a false diagnosis and them showing up to take him back??? Just paints such a terrible picture of kids living with Down Syndrome, which is a real issue in society and should be POSITIVELY represented more. Otherwise, I guess it's fine aside from the awkwardness in the script and that dance scene... though I must say there were a few parts that made me and everyone else chuckle, but that doesn't let me look past the obvious glorifying of motherhood.
