I've played this game for about 1 1/2 years and I decided that I don't like it. I should have gotten into crafting early on as I really needed to catch up after hitting the level cap. I found raising my crafting skills to be not enjoyable while I had the rest of the content available to me. Crafting is designed to be lucrative while it sews into farming and having fun at the same time.
The reason why I ultimately gave up on this game, while I could probably have bought myself some time with being smart about crafting is that I couldn't literally just earn all of my end-game equipment through dungeons, raiding, or doing fractals alone like I could have in a pay to play game.
While there is little to complain about for it being a free to play game, it made me realize why I have enjoyed pay to plays so much more.
