I dont know what's happened to the franchise. This game used to be epic, but now it's been turned into a cash milking program. The mechanics of earning currency are so tipped against you that it makes earning items a grind. Of course the option to buy the currency with real money is there if you don't like being bored. Mortal Kombat is dead. Spend your money elsewhere.
