I'm an old fan of dark alliance and had no illusions that this one was going to be different. That being said I've enjoyed the game so far. Gameplay is engaging, the cinematics are gorgeous, and levels make you think outside the box. Does it have flaws? Sure. A.I. needs some work and sometimes loading after you die looks a little buggy for a second or two, but at the end of it all it still fun to take down scores of everything from goblins to beholder with glorious satisfaction. Add a team to it and it's a whole nother level of fun
