My reaction when finishing this disaster was one of anger. I'm absolutely disgusted that a major, highly experienced TV station should consider this trash as anywhere near acceptable for a mature, intelligent audience. The 'scene' involving the car crash and aftermath was, I think, the most amateurish piece of TV drama I have seen in 60 years of watching. The production company should be utterly ashamed of its efforts and will not I hope be rewarded with any further commissions. The Head of ITV Drama - poached from the BBC allegedly with a double salary - does not deserve to stay in her post. Personal taste is one thing, but it is clear from the number and strength of comments here that ITV made a major mistake producing this laughable junk. I hope ITV will be rewarded by the desertion of many advertisers.
