Completely against ever scrap of established lore built up for the last 20 years. Pretty much the only thing similar to the history of the Halo games and books is that the Master Chief is a Spartan. This is a total retelling so if you are looking for a cool, live action, version of the story that has developed for two decades, you will be disappointed.
