A sparkling gem. Beautifully shaped and cut. Incredible cast and flawless direction. Scott Joplin's musical genius sets a mood that draws one in and makes one never want to leave. The supporting players were astounding. Not only a movie, but a film. Not only a wonderful entertainment, but a glittering memory. Should be in every movie lover's collection.

Its just a really good time, sprinkled with some brilliant comic moments. I think Nancy Travis is gorgeous, so I would watch her in anything.....but her comic timing was wonderful. An early glimpse of Mike Myers that really lets you know he is worth the hype. There are films, movies and flicks. This is a flick. An excellent one! Sit back and have popcorn ready. Oh. And watch it with someone; all that laughter always sounds better shared. And you WILL laugh.
