Wow. This was a good movie. It reeled me in. He really bonded with those kids. He had to go back, so he couldn't stay. I think he went back and took the kids. Now, Lola seemed to be free and got a chance to live her life, but at the same, her childhood sweetheart got his own redemption. I do think she dumped the kids on him, though. It's a tough call. I think the love they had was young love, and couldn't really survive adult life. Who knows.
