I don't know how the directors would cast Adeline's daughter (Ellen Burstyn) as being older than her father portrayed by Harrison Ford. If anything no matter what the age progression she would be in her late 40S if Harrison is in his early 70's in the movie. I enjoyed it but found it a little far fetched.
