Look, it’s beautifully done (direction, acting, cinematography…all outstanding like the acting is amazing), but it is one of the most truly grotesque and incredibly hopeless stories…it’s vile and the themes are repugnant and searing. Consider that before you spend your life watching it.

Uhh…yeah there is no mystery here - she literally just moved to New York, partied with the Kennedys, and was used by pathetic desperate gay men for her stories and money in her elder years. Standard rich white former star stuff. There is a lot of bizarre and unnecessary speculative narrating to inflame her reality into a salacious realm. It’s pretty obvious this director just picked her as a subject to flaunt to make a project…this isn’t very humane or even a passionate lens directed at Garbo. Fairly wacky and melodramatic staging. And, yeah, not illuminating. Garbo had a really good sense of people’s intentions. She probably should have moved back to Sweden. Shame this was made about her without her consent- especially because it’s so trite and regurgitating from lack of access. Actually, that kinda makes me feel like Garbo won.

It actually made me feel-good about dating in this day and age. Which, is astonishing. Hopeful, generationally insightful, and genuinely sound dating advice for navigating compatibility. The main host who has been through divorce is a profound, light-hearted, and steadfast representative for support alongside her friend and business partner. Should win a host and a casting award. It’s a transformational program with an incredible amount of love behind it.

The story and characters have zero redeeming qualities. I still consider it the worst film I’ve ever seen. It’s not just the writing - it’s the acting, direction, and the editing. It’s needlessly long, and it’s an incredibly gluttonous acting exercise on melodrama. If you feel invigorated by actors emotionally masterbating for over two hours as they stoke the already performative emotions of white American narcissism, privilege, and abuse to self-depreciating levels …welcome to your happy place. Not captivating. Not compelling. Miserable, boring, and unable to draw a drop of relatability or sympathy. Barf.

They aren’t teaching people who want to build style about how to do that anymore. They don’t learn how to select or even go shopping, they also aren’t taught HR how to groom. They just ask them about themselves then take them to a room full of pre-selected clothes. Most of this show is the participant talking about their motivations, sufferings, or personal stuff. Colin and Stacey are sorta props in this. Also the Mua and Hair are not about transformation it’s about refinement. There isn’t much transformations it kinda feels inauthentic. It’s a lot of corrective virtue signalling. I think I miss the learning from the last series.

Americans can’t handle multiple guests. They don’t have good craic. It’s like a PBS funding-drive with white Catholic skits.

It feels like a Hallmark Channel thriller. I’m shocked this is above a 2 star rating. This is in the bottom tally of movies I’ve seen. It’s not just one element that is off - it’s a lot of elements at once. The acting is so awful it’s sorta enraging (you can feel Chris Evan’s trying so hard to compensate for Ana DeArmas’ falling flat repeatedly - horrible chemistry, you can tell they didn’t test). The story itself is very TV movie circa 1993. I feel like they over paid the actors and skimped on production value, which is truly sad…because if the main actors made more than 100k they were WAY over paid…I know they were and it’s just so ridiculous to know cause it’s soooo egregious. It felt like a first-time Director…or an overwhelmed Director. If Hallmark is your thing, rock on babe, you’ll enjoy this. I’m glad others enjoyed it. But I’m not surprised I didn’t. It’s a bit really felt like proof that too many streaming channels fund sub-par films in a rush for content. Ooof. 😬

Despicable. Hilarious. Satire. It's a thumb at the nose of the industry in a genuinely entertaining way. The writing is snappy and the episodes are perfectly edited to run like anxiety-fuelled wildfire. It's a great watch with cameos that actually serve the story. Is it predictable? Three episodes in, yes. I hope they grow out the story-line - I'm going to keep watching, because it's fun and shot/edited beautifully, and the acting is solid.

A joy. Life-affirming. Perspective shifting. Utterly unique, and wonderful series. It captures the spectrum of Inuit culture with perfectly structured episodes and character archs. The setting is spectacular, the actors are pitch-perfect, the costuming is gorgeous, the music is amazing, and the heart of this story is truly beautiful. Every episode was a winner - entertaining, and phenomenal series!!! No easy feat- congratulations to every one who crafted this so beautifully. Amazing show!!

I do not understand why scripts this bad get green lit. This is a genuinely weird story. It’s far-fetched to the point of offensive. Not that I really give a shit about that. It’s got like really weird performative feminism in it. Mostly, it’s just an incredibly unbelievable concept paired with incredibly superficial lens. It’s strange. Fairly stilted. Wacky in a non-ironic way. It was Adam Sandler toilet humour. Acting solid it’s just a really dumb story.
