I loved this movie. My family's 3-generations of adult women attended. I was excited to see this movie as it started. I wanted to stand up and wave a USA flag.
And then...
the movie mis-quoted President JF Kennedy's famous quote, "Ask not what your Country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your Country."
This error shook me to my American political core.
What???
There was no "Freedom" in that quote. Yes, he had some quotes about Freedom.
But not this.
This was when my mind paused for awhile. Why the mis-quote? What am I going to see now? Some DEI trickery?
It did okay after that to get my mind focused on the movie.
The movie had great actors, not all vintage like me.
The characters were good. The story was great to inspire us the get out and vote.
The good guys never gave up.
The bad guys thought they won, until the end. Yeah team!
My daughter loved seeing her old heart throb actor, Scott Baio. My grand daughter ate.
I was shocked at the end, when they showed their data about Christian voters and non-voting Anericans in our country. We still have the Freedom to vote for whomever we think will serve our Country best. Our votes do count. We must take those few minutes out of our one day every four year to Vote.
If everyone eligible to vote registered to vote, and went that one day and voted, we can only image the change. Come rain, hail, heat wave, freeze, and whatever else stood in our way, if we pushed thru it and voted. We can all stand proud as Free Americans that we did our part to make this country Strong.
