Shantanu Mulay

The plot holds so much promise but the protagonist/mc absolutely spoils the entire show. He is one of the most annoying characters out there for me. What is bothersome is that whenever there is a slight hint of character development, he slips right back into the same bs self-pitying convoluted spiral. Yet the 3 stars are for some good art, some intriguing side characters and the overall promise of the anime going forward. The premise of the show is pretty great too. The world building isn't spectacular but it doesn't get in the way of the experience. I really was tempted to give it a 1-star rating because of the MC tough. I can't stress enough how bad that Subaru character is. He is maddeningly irritating.
