Wow this was bad!! Worst directing I’ve seen in a long time. Absolutely uncomfortable and forced. If it wasn’t for a family member wouldn’t have lasted past first 20 minutes. Watching it now and still trying to turn it off and end the pain of this desperate attempt to recreate a “current” Version of wonka. I was warned by a lot of friends to not waste my time, but after the original and Johnny depps I thought I would give it a try. My bad. Lined up with most of the movies of 2024.
