I was looking forward to learning more about Leonard Bernstein, one of the most prestigious conductors of or our time. You would think the movie would concentrate more on that. Instead the opening scene was him in his underwear in the bedroom with a gay lover. It seems to me the film was designed specifically as a vehicle to showcase Bradley Cooper, not Mr Bernstein. Itโs a hard no from me.
