Let me be clear I liked the show. The problem was I felt like it conflicted with orginal. Am I the only one who sees the message to Obi-Wan in the orginal episode 4. Leia send Obi-Wan a message in R2-D2. The Message sounded like she had never met the guy. She Says something in the line of " You once served my father in the Clone wars". Leia is very intelligent during this series, I'm sure she would have remembered and regarded him as an old friend. Yet no mention of you once saved my life or hey there old buddy.
Then to top off the manner I felt it made Anakin/Dearth Vader come off as dumb. He is the most feared man in the Galaxy, yet had the chance to kill obi wan and didn't just threw rocks on him. Granted that might have killed an ordinary person, but a Jedi that survived order 66, fought you basically leaving you for dead. Then the whole basis of why didn't he put together Leia was his daughter? He never thought why is Obi-Wan, who at this point stayed well hidden for 10 years now. Why would he come out of hiding to save one girl. I mean his people knew to kidnap her trying to draw Obi-Wan out. He never thought of why this would work. Even if it was for Senator Bail Organa, oh wait his daughter is 10 my wife died 10 years ago pregnant and I never heard he was with child. Padme was close to him wait a minute....
I might be reading into this a bit much as I liked seeing Obi-Wan, Anakin and Qui Gon again. Those were just a few things that made me think why? I mean the battles between Vader and Obi-Wan were great and something I had always wanted to see. The best part is it didn't conflict with the story line.
I even enjoyed the angle that they used sister 3. Being an old youngling that escaped and was trying to kill Vader herself. I liked the story but as I said I felt like the Leia things was a huge mishap even if they tried to play it off like nobody can know
