I could not tear myself away from this and ended up digging up information about Grey Gardens for 3 HOURS. The interactions between the two made me laugh and also tear up at times! I also found myself picking up my jaw from the floor. In my diggings I found that there is ANOTHER documentary made before Grey Gardens. I need to watch That Summer. It was good to read that Little Edie lived and thrived for years after her mother's passing. Interesting to know that the woman who attended Big Edie's birthday lived at Grey Gardens for 18 months and SHE wrote about her time spent there. I can't believe I just "stumbled" upon this great documentary.
