Never really a big Queen fan, sorry, the Who and Small Faces/Faces were more my scene. However I would never turn off Queen's music or not watch a performance when it was shown. Have always been an avid fan of documentaries, biographies and auto biographies of rock stars. When I heard about this film I thought I would go to see it to further my knowledge of the music scene at that time. I had it reported that the film was good. I viewed it as entertainment and was not at all critical that certain aspects of the band or Freddy's life and times were left out of not gone into in depth. I enjoyed the music, found out things about the band I did not know, and thought the film at times was very sad. See the film, enjoy it for what it is, don't be super critical and get an insight into one of rock's most flamboyant characters. The film shows how Mercury could rightfully be dubbed 'the ultimate showman'
