*SPOILERS AHEAD*
The movie itself wasn't fantastic, I found that it dragged on in some parts, but also rushed in other parts, and was overall kind of mid. However, The casting was exceptional. Tom Blyth really carried the entire movie, and Rachel Zegler did a great job as Lucy Gray. The set also carried the entire movie. Although the third part was extremely rushed, and felt like it was recorded in 5 days, it still managed to be a rather good ending to the movie, and (unlike the book) actually foreshadowed that Lucy Gray would betray him, which is still extremely out of character, but it was at least understandable in the movie. One major thing I am still extremely angry about is the fact that they missed so many important scenes and parts of the book. The book had great detail, and the movie missed a lot of that. I found that the movie was good, but it also made me feel like the creators of the movie didn't even read the book. There were so many little things that were completely missed in the movie, but also had a great impact on the book. It's ok, but not better than Spiderverse, sooooo 4/5 stars.
