I am from a town close to West Chester, Pennsylvania and the 1st HBCU, Cheyney University, where Byard Ruskin lived and attended college. He was a frequent speaker in my home town of Media PA for the Freedom Fund of the NAACP. My mother who knew him well, recently passed at the age of 107. She would have loved this movie. The movie depicted a man who was instrumental in making the March in Washington, August,1963, such a momentous success, despite his many naysayers. The movie was riveting. The actor deserves recognition and honors for portraying Mr. Ruskin just as he actually was. It was powerful as well as uplifting.
