Uhm… It was entertaining for the wrong reasons, it shouldn’t have taken itself so seriously. The first 45 minutes of build up were great, good story telling, excellent world building, wonderful characters. I thought it was going to be a story loosely based on Robert Johnson, however this turned out to be more loosely based than I had anticipated. Because right up after the build up (SPOILER ALRT) They bring in an Irish vampire that wants to start a band, no you didn’t read that wrong, yes the songs are good, does it make sense, no. Instead of being a supernatural movie or even a movie being an allegory for racism in the south during prohibition era; However I was greeted with a decently cheesy vampire movie.
