A laborious read, unnecessarily repetitive in its details. For example, how many times do you think it’s necessary to tell us blizzards are cold and windy, and you can freeze to death in them? Should have been half as long, or less. Once you struggle to the end of the first set of three “books”, you’ll find - surprise, surprise - you have to buy more “books” to get to the REAL climax. Either sell us the whole damn thing up front, or at least tell us before we buy anything that you’re selling us an incomplete story. Stuffing too many words into this series to make it long enough to fill multiple volumes, simply to try to compel the readers to spend more is deceitful. Based on the slow, grinding pace in which this is written, and the outstretched hands looking for more money, I am done at the end of the first three book package. See ya!
