Somo Banerjee

The movie is ok. There are some brilliant moments, and the supporting cast is fabulous. Alia Bhatt puts in a sincere and brave performance, but I will have to say that she is miscast in this role. I thought she was 10/10 in Raazi, but she does not have the personality and gravitas required to pull this role off convincingly. So she is brilliant in patches, but quite average in others. I also attribute some of the blame to the direction, because we know that Alia Bhatt is a director's actor. The choice of emotions to display is questionable in several scenes, and doesn't match the content of the scene.
