Stupid, offensive, and insults the intelligence of the viewers. One of the dumbest endings to any tv series I have ever seen in my life. Total waste of time!! I feel I lost brain cells watching this, not to mention the time in my life I lost which I’ll never get back. I wish I had known this was supposed to be a “dark comedy” before watching it. More like a “dark waste of time”. Apparently from reading all the other reviews, this was supposed to be satire? I thought “spoofs” / “satire” were supposed to be funny? I didn’t laugh once. I need all the pills Anna was taking after watching the last episode. What chaps my hide is that they advertise this as an actual serious thriller on their trailers. If you’re going to be a spoof, then advertise yourself as a spoof. Don’t deceive your viewers. Have you ever watched a comedian start to tell a joke, and you can feel that the joke has the potential to be really really funny, and you wait anxiously for the hilarious punchline, and then sadly it falls flat and it’s not funny at all? Then, you think “Dang, the comedian just totally missed the mark on that one!” Now, imagine a 6 hour version of that. This tv series had so much potential, and totally blew it at the end. They could have kept it “ridiculous and over the top” and still made it end better (and smarter) and worth watching. I’m not a writer and I feel I could have made a better ending. I would have rather it have been the deceased mother who crawled out of the depth of the lake as a zombie who was the actual killer! THAT would have been more realistic (or funny)…. Super disappointing!! I know the difference between “so stupid it’s funny” and “just pain stupid”, this was the latter. I was actually mad and irritated at the end of this series. If I paid money to see this in a theater, I would have asked for my money back, and stood outside the theater warning people not to go see it. YES, it was actually THAT disappointing. I feel sorry for the actors having to be associated with this awful series. The only saving grace for them is at least they got a paycheck. I feel like I should have been paid to watch it! My title after tonight will be; “The women sitting across the room from her television watching a really lame series on television”. (I said I wasn’t a writer) NOTE; People who give this show 5 stars explains perfectly why we were able to have someone like Trump for president.
