we can see a very clear pattern of truculent homophobic attitude toward this show in so many of the negative reviews regarding this series. the majority of people negatively speaking about it aren't quite necessarily directly speaking toward the show itself or regarding what may be genuinely important in a series review, yet toward the fact there's lesbian representation. i can guarantee that if kit, the princess, and jade were not a lesbian couple that this show wouldn't be nearly as hated on as it is.
it's frustrating to see a good series that i, and a lot of other people, would wish to see more of being completely hated on because of something so non-concerning like this. i think that each character is developing in a way that's well-written and we can see kit's character progress throughout and become softer and this is something i love to see. and regarding the her and jade, i think their plot-line is also very similarly well-written, as we see them slowly become more aquatinted with what they're feeling toward each other.
i really liked this so far, and it doesn't deserve the hate it's receiving about the fact there are lesbians. (also, it's 2022. i promise, a lesbian couple will not be the end of the world. relax.)
