Made me ashamed to be a man (which of course was the point). As with all the other reviewers, I applaude Sally Wainwrightโs razor sharp observations of life and dialogue between the characters. The idea of the band is a great way to epitomise what women put up with and use as a way of escaping from it. Ignore any downers on this; itโs tv drama at its finest.
