I thoroughly enjoyed this film from the beginning to the end. I love it when brains trump muscles as they do in this movie.

On Tuesdays movies are only $5 except when it's a "special feature". They informed us that this was an exception and it would cost $11.75 to see it. I had previously read the reviews and I was impressed that Rotten Tomatoes had rated it 100% - which never happens! Needless to say I anticipated a very "special" movie. Alas, I was sadly disappointed. The movie was just like watching a Hallmark Movie minus the commercials. A daughter named London was set to donate a kidney to her mother in less than a week when she was hit by a car and dies. You would expect under these circumstances they would harvest atleast one kidney and complete the transplant immediately. For unknown reasons that didn't happen?! It was an absolute flaw in the plot that bothered me through out the movie. I generously rated this movie a 2. I must wonder if the book was much better? Don't pay extra to see this one - it's not worth the price of admission.

I saw Dune Part 1 and was truly looking forward to it's sequel. Unlike the majority of viewers I was sadly disappointed. I found it disjointed and difficult to follow. I admit I have not read the book/s and perhaps if I had my review would be different. However, a friend who had not seen PART 1, joined me at the movie. He couldn't follow the plot at all and hated it! For all the Dune die hard fans, rest assured all is not lost. I have no doubt a Part 3 is in the making!
