As a Muslim viewer and a fan of The Blacklist, I was deeply hurt by the scene in Season 7, Episode 18, where a character (Rostova) threw and mishandled the Qur'an. The Qur'an is the holy book of Islam and must be treated with the utmost respect—only touched with purification (tahara) and never thrown or mistreated. This moment was very offensive to Muslims around the world. I truly hope future episodes and productions will be more careful when portraying religious symbols and beliefs. Respect is key, even in fiction. Thank you.
