Kabir Khan literally aced this movie! The cast looked exactly like the cricketers of the actual team of '83! Each and every shot looked authentic and the actions of the bowlers was spot on.. Even the overseas cricketers had a very strong resemblence to their actual cricketers.. Certain moments like when the real KAPIL DEV caught one of the sixes that Ranveer Singh hit (while acting like Kapil Dev), showing Sachin Tendulkar support India during the final and finally Mohinder Amarnath playing the role of his father Lala Amarnath makes the film heartwarming and a treat to watch! The humour was spot on and each and every actor acted exactly like the cricketers they were supposed to be. I especially like the acting of Jiva ( Kris Srikanth), Ranveer Singh (Kapil Dev), Tahir Raj Bhasin (Sunil Gavaskar) and Pankaj Tripathi (PR Man Singh). The crew is strong and the songs are excellent as well! A truly good watch and all the actors rightly deserve the praise. Even Kabir Khan deserves praise for potraying the emotions of the fans of cricket in India and that of journalists around the world.
