Joker is an absolutely brilliant film. A film that changes our perspective to that of the villain's side. This movie shows us the traits and desires of Arthur Fleck and all the events that eventually drive him to his breaking point. A breaking point that propels him to unwittingly achieve his dream as the Joker. He becomes the icon of an ongoing revolution in Gotham City. As twisted as this movie may seem, it sheds light on the effects of mental illness. Joker is definitely reminiscent of the likes of Taxi Driver and Scarface.
