One of the best shows I’ve seen explores issues of race and sex and humanity and emotion like no other. The diversity of the cast really made a difference. For once a show that had authentic actors from all parts of the world and didn’t focus only on the shim sham of Hollywood typical celebrities that can’t even put on good performances on screen anymore. I understand the budget per episode was way too high but I would still love to see this show brought back if not with the same cast a different one because the world that was built in sense 8 is a world I wanted to be a part of each and every time I rewatched it. The concept of being emotionally connected to people from vast distances and pooling your knowledge and skill set together for the purpose of helping one an other is a beautiful concept. Also the potential risks to humanity and the world as a whole with a species capable of tearing down the system is so intriguing and should have been explored more. I mean could you imagine a cluster of sense 8 toppling a world super power / government. If they were secretly used in the military to create special units that could give a country an edge in a war. So much could be explored and all it needs is an ambitious investor who wants more shows like this or at the very least a series of movies.
