I won’t recommend this movie. I went to watch this movie on Saturday because of Danzel Washington and nostalgia (20+ years ago, the original gladiator was epic). The plot was the weakest link (3 out of 10). It’s not reasonable and logical. How can the Roman emperor and senate be so stupid and incompetent to allow a businessman gain such power through the entertainment industry (gladiators in the coliseum). Danzel’s performance made the move 5 out of 10. So I round it up to 3 stars.
