This was classic Eddie funny. Felt nostalgic. Loved how they brought in so many members from the original cast! Down to Garcelle Beauvais who was a rose petal thrower. The love people like Vanessa Bell Calloway showed-popping in to "hop on one leg and bark like a dog". Not too many people can ask for that kind of love like Eddie. A reunion of sorts. Wesley Snipes killed it! How fun was he to watch? General Izzi was my favorite character! Though everyone did their thing. Great for a 30 year wait. Loved this movie. This film captured enough of the original to make the viewer connect while being contemporary. The themes are timely. The costumes, dance, and music was awesome. I'm struggling to understand the low ratings. Kudos to Eddie Murphy, Kenya Barris and the entire cast and crew! Watched it 3 times since the 5th.
