This was helpful to begin to understand the rage of an Asian American female colleague who would never speak to me I thought I was invisible to her Now I believe she had to deal with being invisible to others How do you get a place at the table as a woman of color under the white gaze? I expected that it was easier for Asian American women I was wrong Thank you Julia Lee for your courageous well written book
