Earthspark was an okay show, I honestly didn't hate that they made nightshade(I think) They/Them because they're literally alien robots but then again for an 7+ audience I feel like they shouldn't have really shown it off in the way they did, I feel like some of the 1 star reviews were a bit too harsh about it because I don't think they shoved it down my throat that much like some other shows I've watched before and I think that perfectly okay. I feel like Megatron being the good guy is also okay I've watched G1 first before Earthspark and I think converting megatron into a good guy is very interesting considering world building purposes and this isn't the first time its happened, but I feel like they did the rest of the decepticons dirty, like I feel like they could've did the finale better the finale is a bit rushed and didn't feel very heartfelt considering that in Season two they completely trashed all the character development made for Starscream and the rest of the decepticons. Adding onto the decepticons, they barely feel fleshed out, I feel like they're just there for the plot and nothing else, but I do like their rivaly with megatron, showing how they feel betrayed that episode with the casettes and the dweller were one of my favorites, but the rest feel like filler. They also made Bumblebee feel..meh.., like I feel like they were trying to make us hate him with they way he was interacting with the Tereans, I can totally understand why he hates having to babysit the Tereans while the rest of the autobots get to do cool things without him. Also why is Mr.Malto actually kinda annoying like no wonder Bumblebee hates him in the episodes with him. They just did Bee so wrong. But what I do like in the show are all the serious moments between the decepticons and megatron, and also any of the lore deep episodes, the VA's did a great job with voicing the characters, and fleshing out most of the autobots and some of the decepticons. The comedy is sometimes okay, but feels like it was writen for 5 year olds but then the rest of the content was writen for 9-12+. (I'd like to mention that I am a middle schooler that has watched the show and preface that it wasn't that bad, and don't let people not let you enjoy the show >.<!!)
