Lawrence Marino

First saw film I was in the eighth grade. I had the good fortune of seeing 2001, 1968 at the grand Loews Capital theater nyc. The experience completely changed my way of thinking about the " big picture " the universe, god and beyond. The film still stands up in special effects, detail and realism. To this day, it is still my favorite film. Highly recommend the experience.

Great filmmaking. Visually better than 1961 version. More emotion and feelings. Best film I have seen in a few years, but then, I have not seen a decent movie in a few years, so you may not want to take my word on it. Highly recommend it.
