Though I didn’t think it was the worst beyblade related property, it’s most certainly not one of the best. Most of the characters are basically cardboard cut outs of the metal masters characters and the story revolves around a tournament for most of the show. Then suddenly, they just randomly start talking about portals to other worlds (which has little to no build up). The animation on the bey wheels are awful and the battles range from a C grade to and F most of the time. The only things I somewhat liked were: 1) Jake (one of the bad guys who admittedly I found funny) 2) Nicole (because I’m literally every scene she has a bag of chips hiding somewhere and it’s kind of cute) 3) the bet spirits having multiple colors, rather than just one color, was neat 4) the ideas for different battles was a decent idea, even though the battles were boring Something I also want to mention (spoiler) is that the whole going to another world thing is kind of retarded because they literally live on an island. And they depict the other world as being the rest of earth (watch the show and you’ll know what I mean). If you want to go the other world have you ever tried plane or boat? Overall, very uninspiring, which is disappointing because I would’ve been okay with this developing into something cooler. But it’s not worth it. Just stick to the metal beyblade series.
