Well, it’s fine, and I’ll happily watch it to the end. But I’m not sure it deserves to be a 6 episode miniseries. They managed to compress two other Jane Harper novels into movies, and I think that’s all this one needed too. Moved very slowly. And it’s very much in the “this town has secrets” genre of Australian crime drama. The scenery is gorgeous and Tasmanian tourism should go very well out of it.
