I felt compounded to read it from the opening scene. I was able to be alongside this mother as she fled to save her son and herself in the midst of trauma grief and terrorising fear. I have suggested it fir our book club read and will know more of others views on Wednesday evening. In the midst of what’s happening in Tehran my heart is heavy and I feel so frigging useless
