SPOILER ALERT:
This was a poorly made movie in general, and very clear with its bias against Trump, the President in the movie even had a bright red tie in the last scene. (I am not a Republican, but was offended by a number of scenes in the movie, as they were in very poor taste.)
Because the movie never actually explains why they are upset with The President, it just gives hints, the โsavioursโ of the film, the Western Forces end up taking over the White House. This movie was obviously motivated by the January 6 riots, but it did itself no favours by showing the Liberals doing the same thing. Does this mean that if you donโt like the President you can form your own army and just invade the White House? I thought that was the whole problem with the Jan. 6 riots.
I think this movie also crossed a line by shooting the President of The United States in cold blood in a celebratory fashion, and once again, not ever explaining what he actually did. This should bother you whether you are a Democrat or Republican.
The fact that so many people are liking this movie is a sad reflection of what our society has become. This is NOT art. What Chris Nolan makes is art. This was just garbage.
