Life is Better with Dogs

This review is based on season 4. Up until then would have rated it a 5 ++. Patience is an absolute waste in every aspect of the show. Acting, character, story line… it’s painful to watch. Sadly takes away from all others who are the reason to watch. Makes me sad.

Although I respect the underlying messages surrounding surviving the atrocities of WWII, the obscene ongoing racism & the opioid epidemic, the movie muddled the importance of all that for me. The story lost it’s way, in my opinion with: ~ over character building with characters that in the end didn’t need it ~ so many scenes that simply could have been cut. Either totally irrelevant, lasted too long, or seemed as though someone learned a new filming technique. ~ just too long & choppy & disjointed With that being said, the acting was superb~ especially Adrien Brody. it just wasn’t enough to save the movie for me.

LOVE THIS SHOW!! It’s a little campy, but, for me, the cast is strong ( it took an episode or two for Sarah & Shae to grow on me, but they won me over. Working on Simone ~ at the end of the day guessing it was by design, which makes their acting even better 🤔😎) ~ & It goes without saying that Kathy Bates is extraordinary ~ par for the course 🫶🏼. Just an enjoyable watch.
