Let me start by saying I agree with most readers opinion about how this book works best with privilege already on your side (finding a new job, getting that double bunk bed, etc) and the repetitiveness of the first half of the book. However, if you can get passed the first half and take what resinates with you and what doesn’t instead of nitpicking a philosophy, you may find it to be more enjoyable. I’ve found it to be most helpful with realizing that it’s okay to have a backbone. If you don’t struggle with making friends, people pleasing, or anxiety, this book probably won’t do much for you.
