The Batman is currently my favorite movie of the past couple years. It was everything I wanted since it was announced. You can see it's influences, from the Long Halloween comics to The Arkham Games, even films like Seven or Zodiac. 9/10. No movie is perfect but this, came really close.

I think Joaquin Phoenix sells it in the roll. Certain Scenes you can not tell if they are real or if they are not and i love it. The dark and gritty setting of New York is perfect for a dark and gritty Gotham. A perfect 9 out of 10. Because no movie is perfect but this one is damn close.
