It's Dark, grainy, and morose. It's like any movie about addiction. Just watching a life slowly disintegrate due to a total lack of character to do better. I know addicts, will pass on the dysfunction thanks. It's amazing how narcissists want to reconnect when they are dying. I like Arnofsky films, this was like behind the scenes of "my 600lb life" reality show. I want my 2 hours back. The final scene where he dies, he was moving toward his daughter, I just imagine her being covered by this huge man being suffocated to death! Someone should have harpooned this one before production. Don't go! Whoever is praising this move are masochists.
